Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza:

By August 25, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 75,771.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (62,744) and those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 13,027+). 

By August 25, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 158,259.

By August 25, 2025, according to news report, 1,021 Palestinians who were killed, 7,004 who were injured, and 18,687, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

Note about the number of Palestinians, who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the Wet Bank:

Palestinian Prisoners’ institutions reported that 662 Palestinians, including 39 children and 12 women, were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), during July 2025.

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), and Al Dhameer Association for Human Rights stated in a report issued Sunday that the total number of kidnappings of Palestinians in the West Bank, since the start of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, has risen to more than 18,500, including over 570 women and about 1,500 children.

"مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَٰلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا"  (الْمَائِدَةُ ، 5: 32).

"وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا" (النِّسَاءُ ، 4: 93).

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Death toll from the genocide in Gaza rises to 62,750 martyrs

The death toll from the ongoing genocide in Gaza, since October 7, 2023, has risen to 62,744 martyrs while 158,259 others were injured, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported in Gaza, on Monday morning.

According to the ministry’s daily statistical report, 58 people were killed and 308 others injured in the past 24 hours.

The Ministry also reported that 28 people were killed and 184 injured while waiting for humanitarian aid in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of martyrs seeking “a morsel of bread” who reached hospitals to 2,123, with more than 15,615 injuries.

Since March 18, 2025 when Israel broke the ceasefire agreement with Palestinian resistance factions, the cumulative toll has reached 10,900 martyrs and 46,218 injuries.

Additionally, the ministry recorded 11 deaths due to starvation and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, raising the total to 300 martyrs, including 117 children.

The Ministry emphasized that many victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and civil defense teams due to Israeli restrictions and bombing.

Israeli strike on Nasir Hospital kills 20, including journalists and medics, 'Hamas condemns

At least 20 Palestinians were killed on Monday when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bombed the emergency and reception building of Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. The victims included five journalists, a doctor, and a paramedic.

Local sources said the IOF first targeted the hospital’s third floor with an explosive drone, killing Reuters photographer Hossam al-Masri and another civilian. Minutes later, as rescuers and journalists rushed to assist, a second strike hit the gathering, raising the death toll.

The slain journalists were identified as: 'Hosam El-Masri (Reuters), Mu'hammed Salama (Al Jazeera), Maryam Abu Daqqa (freelance, Independent Arabia & AP), Mo'adth Abu Taha (freelance), and A'hmed Abu Azeez, who succumbed later to his wounds. Their martyrdom brings the number of Palestinian journalists killed since the start of Israel’s genocide in Gaza to 245.

The 'Hamas Movement condemned the attack, describing it as a “compound war crime” that added to Israel’s “bloody record.”

The Movement said the targeting of journalists was meant to silence coverage of atrocities and accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government of defying international law by striking a protected medical facility.

Hamas urged the international community, the United Nations, and Arab and Muslim states to act decisively, pressure the US and other Israeli backers, and hold Israel accountable in international courts.

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza strongly denounced the Israeli strike on Nasser Medical Complex, calling it a horrific crime deliberately targeting journalists while on duty.

It said the attack, which killed five reporters among others, was part of Israel’s systematic campaign to silence the press and conceal evidence of genocide in Gaza. The GMO urged international journalist unions and media organizations worldwide to denounce these crimes, protect Palestinian journalists, and hold Israel accountable before international courts.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health condemned the attack as a deliberate strike on the only functioning public hospital in southern Gaza, calling it “part of the systematic destruction of the health sector and continuation of genocide.”

The ministry warned that the bombing disrupted surgeries, terrorized patients, and deprived the wounded of urgent treatment. It issued an urgent appeal to protect Gaza’s remaining medical services and humanitarian staff.

Israeli starvation policy kills 11 Palestinians in Gaza as famine deaths hit 300

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 11 Palestinians, including two children, died in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition caused by Israel’s ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

With these new deaths, the total number of Palestinians killed by famine and malnutrition has risen to 300, including 117 children.

On Sunday, UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini warned of the deepening famine in Gaza, describing the situation as “hell unfolding in all its forms.”

In a post on X, Lazzarini said famine represents the latest catastrophe imposed on the Palestinian people, stressing that the global pledge of “never again” is being deliberately broken. He added that “denial is the ugliest form of dehumanization.”

Lazzarini called on the Israeli occupation forces to stop spreading false narratives, allow humanitarian organizations to deliver aid without restrictions, and permit international journalists to independently report from inside Gaza.

Earlier Friday, the United Nations and international experts officially declared a large-scale famine in Gaza, the first time famine has been declared in the Middle East.

According to the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), famine has been confirmed in Gaza governorate and is expected to spread to Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis by the end of September.

The IPC assessment found that over half a million people in Gaza are already in “catastrophic” conditions, classified as Phase 5, the highest level of food insecurity marked by extreme hunger, death, destitution, and critical levels of acute malnutrition.

Another 1.07 million people, representing 54% of the population, face Phase 4 “emergency” food insecurity, while 396,000 (20% of the population) are in Phase 3 “crisis” levels.

The IPC is a global initiative involving UN agencies, regional partners, and humanitarian organizations. It ranks food insecurity on a five-level scale, with famine being the most extreme.

 Israeli forces kill three, injure others in Gaza

GAZA, August 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

 Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening killed three Palestinian civilians and injured others in the central and northern Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that the occupying forces opened fire on Palestinian aid-seekers in the northern Strip, claiming the lives of two and injuring others.

He added that a strike targeted a house in Al-Nusayrat in the central Strip, killing one and injuring three others.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing at least 10,900 with 46,218 others wounded, according to medical sources.

In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 58 slain Palestinians and 308 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 62,744 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 158,259 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

11 Gazans die due to starvation, number surges to 300

GAZA, August 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said on Monday that 11 citizens, including two children, have died due to famine and malnutrition, recorded in Gaza Strip hospitals over the past 24 hours.

Medical sources reported that the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition has risen to 300, including 117 children.

It is worth noting that the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip continues to worsen, due to the blockade and shortages of food and medical supplies. The severe famine is intertwined with a genocidal war waged by Israel since October 7, 2023.

Since March 2, 2025, the occupation authorities have closed all crossings with the Gaza Strip, preventing the entry of most food and medical aid, causing a famine outbreak within the Strip.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has warned that malnutrition among children under the age of five doubled between March and June as a result of the ongoing blockade.

The World Health Organization confirmed that malnutrition rates in Gaza have reached alarming levels, that the deliberate blockade and delays in aid have caused many lives lost, and that nearly one in five children under the age of five in Gaza City suffers from severe malnutrition.

Several civilian killed and injured in Israeli bombing in Gaza

GAZA, August 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

A number of citizens were killed and others injured early Monday morning after the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) bombed large areas in the Gaza Strip.

A medical source at Al-Shifa Medical Complex reported that at least two citizens were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in Al-Karama area, northwest of Gaza City.

A woman was killed and seven others were injured when the IOFs bombed a tent housing displaced persons in Al-Mawasi area of ​​Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip.

Three citizens were also killed and several others were injured when the IOF bombed a team providing aid in Dair El-Bala'h, central Gaza Strip.

The IOF carried out extensive bombing operations in Al-Zarqa and Jabalya areas, north of the Gaza Strip, and also blew up several civilian homes in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

On day 689: Latest developments in Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza

For the 689th consecutive day, Israeli forces continued their genocidal assault on the Gaza Strip through relentless air and artillery strikes, targeting civilians who are already starving or displaced, backed by unwavering US military and political support, amidst unprecedented international silence and betrayal.

Israeli forces launched dozens of airstrikes and committed new massacres, worsening the plight of over two million displaced Gazans amid a brutal famine.

Medical sources reported numerous civilian casualties from early Monday shelling.

Three people were killed near the College of Science and Technology, south of Khan Younus.

Fadi Mu'hammed Al-Aryan died from shelling near the Netzarim aid center in central Gaza.

Ibraheem Al-Asharah was killed while attempting to recover a body amid attacks in Khan Younus.

Booby-trapped robots were reportedly used along Yafa Street near Al-Tuffa'h in Gaza City, alongside house demolitions in Al-Shuja’iyya and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods.

Israeli aircraft bombed the Open University south of 'Hamad City and targeted homes in Al-Zarqa (Al-Tuffah area), Al-Ghubari (western Jabalya), and in neighborhoods near Wadi Gaza’s humanitarian points.

Al-'Awda Hospital received 4 fatalities and 19 injuries from shelling at an aid distribution site.

Additional strikes hit shelters in Al-Zaytoun and Al-Shuja’iyya, wiping out several homes in northern Jabalya.

At Al-Karama, 4 people were killed in their home.

At Dair El-Bala'h, 3 aid workers were killed while securing assistance.

In Al-Mawasi (west of Khan Younus), one woman was killed and seven injured after an Israeli strike on a displaced persons’ tent, while heavy gunfire in western Khan Younus wounded several persons.

Yesterday, 51 Palestinians were killed, 27 in Gaza City, with 24 among them being aid seekers.

Ongoing genocide

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, bolstered by US support, has conducted a genocidal campaign in Gaza, resulting in at least 62,686 deaths, 157,951 injuries, over 10,000 missing persons, and countless famine victims. Over two million Palestinians are displaced and homeless amid widespread devastation (by August 24, 2025).

The ongoing genocide has turned children into targets, 18,000 children were killed, alongside 14,500 women, reflecting deliberate targeting of vulnerable civilians.

Famine has claimed 289 more lives, including 115 children. Health and rescue workers are being decimated: 1,590 medical personnel, 115 civil defense members, 220 emergency staff, and 754 security personnel have been killed.

Over 15,000 massacres have been recorded, impacting more than 14,000 families and wiping out 2,500 families from the civil registry. Over 88% of buildings in Gaza have been destroyed, with economic losses exceeding $62 billion, and 77% of Gaza’s territory is under Israeli control.

Palestinian Civil Defense: No safe areas left in Gaza

The Palestinian Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip has issued a stark warning: Israeli occupation forces are intensifying their airstrikes on Gaza City, leaving no areas safe across the Strip.

According to Major Ma'hmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Civil Defense, over 1,000 buildings have been completely destroyed in the Al-Zaytoun and Al-Sabra neighborhoods since August 6.

He emphasized that Civil Defense teams are still unable to retrieve hundreds of bodies trapped under the rubble due to ongoing bombardments and a severe lack of resources.

“We continue to receive urgent appeals about missing persons, the wounded, and the martyred in Al-Zaytoun and Al-Sabra,” Basal said. “Yet our rescue teams can’t reach them due to the relentless shelling and extreme danger in the field.”

He also raised serious concerns over the continued incursion of Israeli forces into Gaza City, warning that rescue teams lack the capacity to respond to the escalating intensity of the Israeli attacks.

Basal concluded, “There are no safe zones anywhere in Gaza, north or south. Civilians are being bombed in their homes, their shelters, and even in their displacement tents.”

Israeli occupation forces have ramped up attacks on Gaza City neighborhoods, particularly Al-Zaytoun and Al-Sabra, while simultaneously escalating assaults in Jabalya, in the north.

Medical sources reported that at least 52 Palestinians were killed since dawn today, including two infants who died due to severe malnutrition and the lack of baby formula.

This marks day 688 of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, characterized by massacres, ethnic cleansing, forced displacement, and a deliberate starvation campaign that has claimed the lives of both children and adults due to acute malnutrition.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

Palestinian detainee succumbs to wounds after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces in Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), August 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

Palestinian detainee Mus'ab El-'Eida, 20, was pronounced dead on Monday after succumbing to critical injuries sustained when he was shot by Israeli forces last Thursday in the center of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

The Palestinian General Authority for Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health of El-'Eida’s death, confirming that he had died of severe wounds inflicted by live fire in the Tel Rumeida area of central Hebron.

Israeli forces stationed at the military checkpoint in Tel Rumaida had opened live fire at Al-'Eida, critically injuring him before detaining him while he was wounded.

The Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Society said in a joint statement that El-'Eida was pronounced dead at Israel’s Shaare Zedek Hospital, which had notified his family. He had been shot by Israeli forces on August 21 and subsequently detained, with his detention extended yesterday at Ofer prison despite his critical condition.

The two institutions described the shooting as an attempted field execution, similar to the targeting of other Palestinians who were later killed. They added that Al-'Eida’s death is part of the ongoing pattern of Israeli crimes, including extrajudicial killings, which have escalated during the ongoing genocidal war over the past two years.

New IOFs raid, arrest campaign across the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out a wide-ranging raid campaign across cities and towns in the West Bank overnight and into Monday morning, resulting in confrontations and the kidnapping of several Palestinian citizens.

Al-Khaleel (Hebron):

Violent clashes erupted in the town of Sa’ir, north of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), where the IOFs heavily fired live ammunition and illumination flares.

Several areas in Al-Khaleel (Hebron) Province were also raided, including Bait Ummar town, the Baq'a area, and closed neighborhoods in the city.

Nablus:

In Nablus, the IOFs stormed the town of Sebastya northwest of the city for the fifth time in just 42 hours, forcibly evacuating the archaeological area. They also advanced from the 'Awarta checkpoint into the city and raided Balata refugee camp in the east.

Qalqilya:

In Qalqilya, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of 'Azzoun, stormed homes, and kidnapped Salma Shubaita, the sister of the two prisoners Yaseen and Mu'hammed Shubaita.

Ramallah:

In Beer Zait town, north of Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a young man named Mu'hammed Ziyad Abu 'Awwad during a house raid.

Tulkarem:

The town of Dair El-Ghusoun was also targeted, where the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped Sa'eed Badran. Simultaneously, the IOFs raided several neighborhoods in Qalqilya city.

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Monday evening attacked a Bedouin community near the Jaba‘ town, east of the occupied West Bank city of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), according to local sources.

They said that armed colonists, accompanied by the occupying forces, barged their way into the Bedouin community of 'Ar'ara and attacked the community members, injuring at least one and spreading panic among women and children.

They added that the gun-toting soldiers prevented ambulance crews from evacuating the casualty and detained at least a resident.

Meanwhile, colonists broke into a citizen’s dwelling in Khirbet El-Farisiya in the northern Jordan Valley for over five times within 24 hours.

Khirbet El-Farisiya has been the target of frequent colonist attacks aimed at displacing the community towards Tubas.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million illegal Israeli settlers are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers erected a new tent on Monday inside the new colonial outpost on Palestinian land in the town of 'Attara, northwest of Ramallah.

Local sources reported that colonists stormed the "Jabal El-Khirba" area at the entrance to the town, erected a ninth tent, and installed new water tanks and an electrical transformer to light the outpost. They intend to seize it for colonial expansion purposes.

The same sources added that a colonist and his sheep raided a grape vineyard belonging to Adham Lafi in the town, after breaking its lock and gate.

On August 11, a number of colonists established a colonial outpost on an area of ​​approximately 25 dunams and paved dirt roads.

It is worth noting that the Jabal El-Khirba area, which covers an area of ​​2,000 dunams, is an archaeological site frequently raided by colonists as part of a colonial policy aimed at displacing Palestinian citizens.

It is noteworthy that settlers have attempted to establish 15 new colonial outposts since the beginning of last July, predominantly agricultural and pastoral.

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers, backed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs), set up three new outposts on Monday on Palestinian land in Al-Khalil, southern West Bank, after seizing thousands of dunums.

According to the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, settlers placed dozens of mobile homes on lands in Bireen, east of Al-Khalil (Hebron), taking control of nearly 6,400 dunums belonging to the village, Bani Na’eem town, and parts of al-Khalil city.

The organization said the area has been witnessing an intensified settler campaign for the past two months, including new road construction, land seizures, crop destruction, and well sabotage, measures it described as a direct threat to Palestinian existence in the region.

A related report from the Palestinian Authority’s Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said settlers carried out 466 attacks across the West Bank in July alone, killing four Palestinians, forcibly displacing two Bedouin communities of 50 families, and attempting to establish 15 additional outposts.

Since the start of Israel’s genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, settler violence and IOFs' operations in the West Bank have escalated to unprecedented levels. At least 971 Palestinians have been martyred by IOFs gunfire and settler attacks, according to Palestinian statistics.

Groups of Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque early Monday morning, carrying out provocative Talmudic rituals under the heavy protection of Israeli occupation regime police forces.

According to sources in Jerusalem, dozens of Jewish settlers entered the Aqsa in separate groups and performed rituals in the Mosque’s compound, while rabbis provided explanations related to the so-called “Temple Mount.”

At the same time, Israeli forces tightened restrictions at the Mosque gates and throughout Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), obstructing Palestinian worshipers and residents attempting to enter the area.

Local calls from Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and Palestinian communities within the Green Line have intensified, urging people to mobilize and gather at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The calls emphasize the importance of maintaining a strong presence in the Mosque’s courtyards to thwart Israeli plans aimed at asserting control over the site.

Organizers stressed the urgency of confronting Israeli efforts to reduce the number of worshipers, calling on Palestinians to flock to the Mosque upon its reopening, perform prayers, and challenge Israeli attempts to sever the Mosque from its religious and cultural surroundings.

Activists underscored that maintaining a presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque at this critical moment reflects popular resilience in the face of Israeli escalation. They called it a clear message that the holy site is a red line that cannot be crossed, regardless of circumstances or challenges.

Haroon Nasiruddeen, a senior 'Hamas political bureau member and head of its Jerusalem Affairs Office, condemned the increased settler incursions, describing them as desperate attempts to impose Judaization measures and assert full control over the Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem.

He highlighted that bringing in religious symbols, performing public rituals, provocative dances, and desecrating graves in Bab El-Ra'hma cemetery represent the criminal face of the settler movement, actions fully protected and enabled by Israel’s far-right government.

Nasiruddeen further stated that the mass demolition of dozens of Palestinian homes in a matter of days will not weaken the resolve of Maqdisis (Jerusalemites) or diminish their attachment to their land, rights, and holy sites.

He emphasized that all Judaization projects targeting the holy city are part of a broader Israeli strategy of annexation and forced displacement. This plan will ultimately fail, regardless of the sacrifices required to resist it, he affirmed.

Nasser Al-Din concluded by calling on Palestinians and the wider Arab and Islamic nations to do everything in their power to protect Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Islamic sanctities from Israel’s schemes. 'Hasan Mulai'hat, supervisor of Al-Baidar Organization in Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that the occupation authorities notified three brothers in the community of the imminent intention to tear down their dwellings, where the latter had been living for over 40 years.

Israel demolishes Palestinian houses and structures almost daily as a means to achieve “demographic control” of the occupied territories.

Israel denies planning permits for Palestinians to build on their own land or to extend existing houses to accommodate natural growth, particularly in Jerusalem and Area C, which constitutes 60 percent of the occupied West Bank and falls under full Israeli military rule, forcing residents to build without obtaining rarely-granted permits to provide shelters for their families.

In contrast, Israel argues that building within existing colonies is necessary to accommodate the “natural growth” of colonists. Therefore, it much more easily gives the estimated 1,000,000 Jewish Israeli colonists there building permits and provides them with roads, electricity, water and sewage systems that remain inaccessible to many neighboring Palestinians.

Australia continues to strongly support two-state solution: PM

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese affirmed that his country continues to strongly support the principle of a two-state solution in the Middle East.

This came in an interview in which he commented on his country's decision to recognize Palestine as an independent state and the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.

Albanese explained that Australia wants an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the release of all prisoners.

He continued: "We will continue to support the principle of a two-state solution that gives Palestinians and Israelis the opportunity to live side by side in peace and security, and we will continue to raise our voice in international forums to achieve this goal."

He added: "We realize that Australia is not an influential force in the Middle East, but we do not sell weapons to Israel."

"We have supported initiatives to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, whether through direct communication with the Israeli government or through our support for these initiatives in international forums," he continued.

It is noteworthy that the Australian Prime Minister announced on August 11 his intention to recognize Palestine as a state during the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly in September.

Arab League chief condemns Israeli massacre at Nasser Medical Complex

CAIRO, August 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul-Ghait condemned on Monday the continuous raids by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip, including the recent massacre at the Nasser Medical Complex, which killed 20 citizens, including 5 journalists.

In a statement, Abul-Ghait said that the latest slaughter was merely one episode in a continuous series of crimes and massacres targeting civilians, highlighting the assassination of more than 12 journalists in the past two weeks.

He added that Israel, the occupying power, seeks to conceal the true picture of the atrocities taking place in Gaza and to silence any voice that conveys the truth.

The Arab League chief demanded the international community to break its shameful silence regarding the unprecedented atrocities and crimes that occur every day in cold blood and without any punishment or even a dissenting voice saying enough of this continuous slaughter.

Aboul-Gheit said that the world's inability to do anything means that it condones the daily death of dozens of innocent people in Gaza as a normal event.

The foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Monday passed a resolution affirming that a just, lasting and comprehensive peace can only be achieved through the implementation of the two-state solution.

In the resolution they adopted during the 21st extraordinary session, held at OIC headquarters in Jeddah at the request of Palestine, Türkiye, and Iran, the foreign ministers of the OIC member states expressed their “strong rejection and condemnation of Israel's announcement regarding its plans to impose full occupation and military control over the Gaza Strip and any schemes, regardless of their nature, aimed to displace the Palestinian people forcibly.”

They slammed Israel’s announcement and schemes as “a dangerous and unacceptable escalation, an attempt to reinforce illegal occupation, and a means to impose a fait accompli through force,” warning that “Such illegal actions threaten regional and international peace and security and represent a blatant violation of international law, including international humanitarian and human rights law, relevant resolutions of international legitimacy, as well as the advisory opinion and provisional measures ordered by the International Court of Justice.”

They held “Israel, as the occupying power, fully responsible for the acts of genocide, the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, and the famine affecting the Gaza Strip,” and demanded that “Israel open all crossings and urgently allow the unhindered and unconditional entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, including sufficient food, medicine, and fuel, and ensure that relief agencies and international humanitarian organizations, particularly UNRWA, can operate freely,” in line with international humanitarian law, international human rights law, and relevant UN resolutions.

They emphasized “the importance and the need for the international community to responsibly approach the provisions of the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification system (IPC) adopted by the United Nations on the occurrence of famine in the Gaza Strip for the first time and on an International level”.

They held “the Israeli occupation fully and directly responsible for this crime and its repercussions, Calls on the international community to take urgent action and operationalize all international emergency mechanisms to ensure the immediate, adequate and unimpeded flow of humanitarian and food aid to the Gaza Strip, and stresses the need to refer the issue of the Israeli crimes of starvation and siege laid to the Gaza Strip to the International Criminal Court.”

They stressed “the importance of the Government of the State of Palestine taking full responsibility for governance and security in the entire Occupied Palestinian Territory,”

and called for “comprehensive support from both OIC Member States and the international community to facilitate this.”

They highlighted “the necessity of providing various forms of assistance to the Palestinian government, specifically through the activation of the Islamic Financial Safety Net, following agreed-upon transparent mechanisms,” and urged the international community to “pressure the Israeli occupation to immediately and wholly release all Palestinian tax revenues that have been illegally withheld.”

They affirmed that “a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace can only be achieved through the implementation of the two-state solution. This solution requires ending the Israeli occupation, ensuring the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine based on the Pre-June 4, 1967 Borders, with East Al-Quds as its capital, as per international law, relevant United Nations resolutions, and the Arab Peace Initiative.”

They highly valued “the positions and decisions of countries that have recognized or announced their intention to recognize the State of Palestine next September 2025,” and hailed this recognition as “a confirmation and fundamental support for the Palestinian people’s natural, historical, and legal right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state.”

Doctors Without Borders: Israel targets the only witnesses to genocide

Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) strongly condemned the horrific Israeli attacks on the Nasir Medical Complex on Monday morning, which killed 20 people, including five journalists, paramedics, and healthcare workers, emphasizing that Israel is deliberately targeting the only witnesses to genocide.

Jerome Grimaud, MSF’s emergency coordinator in Gaza, reported that among the victims was journalist Maryam Abu Daqqa, who had worked repeatedly with the organization. “Mariam’s child is now forced to grow up without a mother,” he said.

Grimaud described how some MSF staff were forced to shelter inside a laboratory as the Israeli military continued to bomb the facility amid rescue efforts. He voiced deep outrage at the ongoing attacks on healthcare workers and journalists, noting that the assault on humanitarian and media personnel continues with total impunity.

“Over the past twelve months, we have seen how Israeli forces leveled healthcare facilities, silenced journalists, and buried healthcare workers under rubble,” Grimaud added.

He called for an end to the genocide in Gaza and for Israel to be held accountable. “As long as Israel continues to disregard international law, it is intentionally targeting the only witnesses to its genocidal campaign. Enough.”

Early Monday morning, 20 people were martyred, including journalists and members of civil defense teams, following a double Israeli airstrike that targeted El-Yaseen building inside the Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza, broadcast live on air.

While rescue teams were retrieving victims and the wounded from beneath the rubble, Israeli forces launched a second air raid on the same location, resulting in a horrifying massacre that struck rescue teams, journalists, and civilians gathered at the scene.

According to the Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO), this attack raised the number of journalists killed in Gaza to 246 since the start of the genocide, after the martyrdom of 'Hasan Do'uhan, a journalist working with the newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, who was shot by Israeli forces while inside his tent in El-Mawasi area of Khan Younus, southern Gaza.

The PGMO confirmed that Palestinian journalists are being systematically targeted, calling on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all global media institutions to condemn these crimes and hold Israel, the US administration, and other participant countries like the UK, Germany, and France fully accountable.

The PGMO urged the international community to prosecute Israel in international courts, stop the ongoing genocide, and protect Palestinian journalists, while praying for mercy for the martyrs and healing for the wounded reporters.

UN demands protection for medical and press personnel in Gaza

UN spokesperson, Stéphane Dujarric, has called for the protection of medical and media personnel in the Gaza Strip, urging swift investigations into the attacks targeting them.

“Recent horrific massacres in Gaza underscore the dangers faced by medical staff and journalists,” Dujarric stated in a press briefing on Monday.

In a brutal escalation earlier today, the Israeli occupation army repeatedly struck the Nasir Medical Complex in central Khan Younus, southern Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 20 individuals. The fatalities included five journalists, as well as multiple doctors and civil defense volunteers who rushed to save the wounded. Numerous injuries were also reported.

Additionally, journalist 'Hasan Dou'han was fatally shot by Israeli forces this evening inside his tent in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus.
